The area around the villa

Royal Garden Villas are located next to a sandy organised beach in Bali village, a beautiful seafront village with a lovely view overlooking the Cretan Sea.

It is one of the central location of the island of Crete and from here you can visit the whole island. It is 30 km from Rethymno and 51 km from Heraklion town.

Bali has all kinds of shops such as supermarkets, pharmacies, traditional taverns, cafes, bars, beach bars and restaurants, etc where can be easily accessed from the villas.

There are four beaches in Bali and the closest beach from the villa is around 800 m away. In addition there is a waterpark on the sea includes a variety of water attractions for the whole family. The owner of the villa also owns a beach bar in one of the beach (around 2 km away) and our guests can have free sun beds there.

Additionally take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Panormos, Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana and Anogia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality. Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave Sfendoni, the well known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites, the Ancient city of Eleftherna with its museum and many more. 

Furthermore if you are looking for privileges that only a big city can offer, then Rethymno town is 30 km away and offers unique facilities and a wide variety of entertainment.
